My name is Sue.
I am currently enrolled in a program to earn a Masters Degree in Education and a teacher certification.
The dream is to teach high school physics and encourage students of all abilities to love science and think more critically. I have been an environmental consultant off-and-on for about 20 years. I am most proud of my children and my marriage (20 years and counting!).
I have always loved teaching and mentoring. As my children have grown, I have been a classroom volunteer, cub scout den mother, teachers assistant, boy scout merit badge counselor and Sunday school teacher. I have spent the last two years as a substitute teacher. It was important to me to test the idea of being a teacher against the reality of being a teacher. I loved every minute of being in front of a group of students, finding ways to engage them and encourage them to learn.
I am a fairly competent user of computer technology - I love new e-toys and e-tools. I have never aspired to be a programmer, designer, or hacker.
I have few actual hobbies. I enjoy gardening, reading, and listening to/being with my family and friends.
